KOP Mentoring Network and Emanuel Jackson Sr. Project!
Impact 100 Men has made a difference once again! On June 22nd at the Art’s Garage in Delray Beach an award ceremony was held announcing that KOP Mentoring Network and The Emanuel Jackson Sr. Project each received $25,000 from Impact 100 Men for their programs submitted for funding for the 2022-23 grant year.
The KOP Mentoring Network will use the $25,000 for their “Star Makers” Program. “Star Makers” is an after-school enrichment program delivered by KOP Mentoring, an agency with a 30-year record of success. Serving disadvantaged struggling students ages 10-18 at Title One schools in Delray Beach, the STEAM-rich program gives the students Knowledge and Opportunity so they can Prosper.
The Emmanuel Jackson Sr. (EJS) is “The Teen Career Readiness (TCR) Program”. “TCR” teaches life skills necessary to enter the workforce and see a positive future for themselves. (EJS) offers resume building, interviewing skills, and internships with local businesses. The culmination of the skills learned consists of a Career Day, Challenge Day, and Workshops that build soft life skills. The program gives students the skills needed to succeed in the workplace and in life. Students who complete this program can participate in Purpose Pays Program a paid Internship.
